It has been a really long time since I was last in Mumbai. During the ’90s the growing trend of globalisation meant that work in all sectors was moving out there at an ever increasing rate. I was out there at the front line of that, and what I did made lots of money for my employers. I didn’t just work while i was out there though, I really got into seeing the life of the City.
Mumbai just isn’t like any other big city, not even over big cities in India. I can’t really describe it, but there is a uniqueness there. I miss the place quite a bit, and was getting nostalgic for the long walks I used to take through he controlled chaos. I actually checked out the logistics of booking flights to Mumbai. I don’t think I can get away any time soon.
I found this video of the sights and sounds of Mumbai. Without narration or music the film has a sound track of constant honking of horns, and shows the hustle and bustle of the place.
