What kind of thing do you put your plants flowers etc. in? Surely nothing as cool as this idea from the Internet. It is a nice little craft project that I think anyone could do – I know I will be, I think the office would look great with a few of these about.
Pretty cool eh? You would probably be best to check the value of any old books before you use them in this way though. Can you imagine how gutting itwould be to have someone come into your home or office, admire your unusual planter and then reveal that the book would have been worth £5000 before you cut a hole in it and filled it with compost. It is a nice thought though, a book that a tree had to die to print, having a tree grow out of it.
